There is a spot early on where Vitalik discusses a t-shirt he bought for approximately 3.9 BTC! (At the time of writing, I'm not entirely sure if this is accurate - I must review this podcast again.) Further along, there is also a brief discussion about Ethereum minting - around 15 million ETH per day or so. (Again, at the time of writing, I'm not certain if that figure is accurate.)
